Notes - Very rare player issue away shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by a #13 during the period of 2002-04. This design had been earmarked for use at the World Cup finals in Korea and Japan, but was never used at the competition with the Red Devil's wearing their home kit in all four matches. During the World Cup a win and 2 draws saw the side advance from the group stages behind co-hosts Japan before losing out to eventual tournament winners Brazil thanks in part to a Rivaldo wonder strike. This design rolled over to qualifying for Euro 2004 in Portugal, where the side missed out on the finals on head-to-head goal difference with Croatia.
